Our Story
Scarlet Compass began with one unforgettable trip.
In April 2022, we—Adam and Sarah—boarded Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas for our first Bliss lifestyle cruise. We went aboard excited, curious, and not entirely sure what to expect. By the time the cruise ended, we knew we had found something special.
We loved every part of the experience: the freedom, the energy, the friendships, and the feeling of being surrounded by open-minded adults who could relax and be themselves. Before long, we had booked the April 2023 Bliss cruise, and we never looked back.
Our travel advisors played an important role in making that first experience feel comfortable and approachable. They answered our questions, helped us prepare, and gave us the confidence to step into a new kind of vacation. The experience made such an impact on us that we wanted to help others discover it as well. We immersed ourselves in the lifestyle travel industry, built relationships with trusted cruise partners, and began helping other travelers find the vacations that were right for them.
Our story grew again in April 2024, when we met Gin aboard another lifestyle cruise. What began as a vacation friendship became something much deeper. Gin became part of our family, moved to Maine, and eventually joined us in building Scarlet Compass.
Today, Scarlet Compass is more than a lifestyle travel agency. It is the result of the experiences that changed our own lives. We specialize in swinger cruises, lifestyle cruises, adults-only vacations, and other open-minded travel experiences because we have lived them ourselves. We understand the excitement of booking your first cruise, the questions that come with entering the lifestyle travel community, and the challenge of choosing between experiences such as Bliss Cruises, Desire Cruises, Temptation, Rockstar Adventures, Killing Kittens, and Virgin Voyages.
Our goal is to offer the kind of honest, personal guidance that made such a difference for us. We do not simply help people book a cabin. We help them understand their options, find the community and atmosphere that fit them, prepare for the experience, and feel confident about the journey ahead.
